Secangkir Pikiran - Mencoba Bersyukur

Ada tujuh milliar penduduk di bumi. Terlalu banyak masalah yang disediakan, banyak skenario yang telah ada semenjak aku belum lahir. Usiaku sekarang sudah 26 tahun, masih mencari apa maksud hidupku? Untuk apa aku ada di dunia ini?   Di luar sana, jauh dari jangkauan hidupku yang termasuk nyaman. Ada banyak kesedihan. Anak terlantar, kemiskinan, rasisme, kerusakan alam, hilangnya nyawa tak bersalah, matinya para hewan karena rumahnya di ambil oleh yang orang yang tak merasa berdosa dan masih banyak lagi. Banyak sekali kesedihan, dan disini aku hanya mengasihani diri yang sebenarnya sangat beruntung.   Keberuntungan yang tidak kusyukuri. Ada rumah tempat kembali, keluarga yang selalu menyambut dengan suka cita, makan tiga kali sehari beserta camilan, tempat tidur yang nyaman, jam tidur yang panjang dan teman yang baik. Dan aku masih mengeluh tentang pekerjaan? Dangkal sekali pikiranku. Kenapa aku sangat serakah dengan hidup? Maaf...
